**Note - this combined synopsis/solicitation follows the pre-solicitation previously listed as PF-19-32519-02. **
The USDA-ARS located in Maricopa, Arizona needs the removal and replacement of 11 variable frequency drives
(VFDs) w/ Bypass in the Penthouse to control the exhaust fans.
The facility has eleven (11), 5HP V-Tech9 drives with Bypass and BACnet card in the penthouse that control the
exhaust fans, the drives fault on a regular basis and are hard to re-set.
The contractor shall provide all professional services necessary equipment to replace the existing VFDs and
bypass with an ABB drive and bypass for maximum efficiency for the accomplishment of the contract.
•· Schedule work with facilities department
•· Lockout/Tagout existing Drive
•· Remove defective VFDs and bypass switches and remove from the location
•· Replace existing VFDs with a new ABB drives with bypass, using existing enclosure.
•· Start drive, program to existing motor and check for proper operation, reinstall existing communication wires.
•· Provide Factory Start-up & Training
•· Provide Parts & Labor Factory Warranty
•· Provide the USDA with all necessary documentation.

Government Furnished Utilities:
The Government will furnish electrical and water utilities for the contractors' use during the contract period so long
as the contractor uses these efficiently and economically.
Per FAR 52.215-1(c)(A), late submissions will not be considered for award.
