The Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Phoenix, AZ, office has a requirement for a qualified contractor to perform janitorial services at its Mead Substation in Boulder City, Nevada, its Gila Substation in Yuma, Arizona, and its Yuma Service Center in Yuma, Arizona. Various services are required on a twice weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual basis. More details are included in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) and accompanying documents.
This is a 100% small business set-aside, Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 561720 (Janitorial Services) with a size standard of $19,500,000. This requirement is being solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13.
WAPA DSW anticipates awarding a one-year contract with options for four additional years of performance to the lowest-priced technically acceptable (LPTA) bid. However, the Government reserves the right to make any number of awards, or no award, if it is in the Government's best interest to do so. See RFQ cover page for more details on how to bid.
