Description

Services. Switching Services are required when Phoenix Area Indian Health Service (PAIHS) health care facilities submit pharmaceutical claims electronically from the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) computer system to third party Drug Plans and Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) for reimbursement. Pharmacy Benefit Eligibility Verification Services are web-based programs utilized to verify pharmacy insurance processing information and patient benefit eligibility status that is critical for Pharmacy Point-of-Sale (POS). The Benefit Eligibility Services will include separate transactions for the Pharmacy Department and Patient Business. (Attachment of Work is attached).
