VETERANS PARK GRADING, DRAINAGE & SIDEWALK PROJECT

The CITY OF GLOBE, hereinafter referred to as the City, through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG Contract #133-22) from the State of Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH), will accept bids from qualified firms or individuals with an A (A-4, A-5, A-7, A-12, A-14, A-15, A-16, A-17) engineering contracting commercial license as registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to perform the following services: pavement removals, site grading and embankment, sidewalk construction, specialty pavement finishes, utility fixture adjustments, and other miscellaneous construction items, all part of the VETERANS PARK GRADING, DRAINAGE & SIDEWALK PROJECT.

Project Description

This federally funded project consists of construction of park improvements as follows:

1. Remove sidewalk

2. Remove drainage grate inlet & abandon outlet pipe

3. Remove handrail at building entrance ramp

4. Remove picnic table concrete slab

5. Remove, store & reset picnic table

6. Remove, store & reset trash receptacles

7. Remove, store & reset plant pots

8. Adjust water valve & electric boxes to finished grade

9. Construct embankment

10. Construct sidewalk, standard surface

11. Construct sidewalk, exposed aggregate surface

12. Extend roof drain outlets

13. Seeding

14. Furnish and install hip roof ramada structure, 15’ x 15’, with footings

15. Furnish and install tables with seats, 46” square, slatted surfaces

16. Furnish and install benches with backs, 6’ length, recycled plastic slats

17. Site barricades & fencing

18. Mobilization

19. Any and all other associated contingent and miscellaneous items of work to complete the proposed park improvements.
