The 309 Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), a tenant of Davis Monthan Air Force Base located in Tucson AZ, will begin to perform aircraft paint operations within a newly constructed paint facility.

This operation is expected to generate a wastewater stream containing hexavalent chrome (Cr+6) that will need to be treated on site (prior to discharge or collection). It is anticipated that this process will intermittently generate a maximum wastewater rate of ten (10) gpm, operating between 1-2 hrs per day, at ~five (5) days per week. 309 AMARG requires a complete collection and treatment system/solution based on the following assumptions:

1. Wastewater will need to be pumped from the aircraft painting location to a collection point (holding tank/s) ~ two (2) three

thousand (3,000) gallon tanks.

2. Wastewater to be metered/monitored between tanks to verify levels of contaminants.

3. Wastewater to be pumped from holding tank/s, to a suspended solid filtration system.

4. Wastewater is then transferred to an ion exchange system capable of removing hexavalent chrome (Cr+6), to a concentration of
5. Minor Construction to include installation of paint booth floor drains, required electrical connection and plumbing to complete

installation from paint booth to specified equipment.

6. Ongoing Service capability located in vicinity of AMARG to address maintenance and support within ~24hrs of request. Work is to be completed NLT December 2023.
