Description

The 2023 Invasive Species Monitoring, Department of Public Works, Environmental and Natural Resources Division (ENRD) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona has been designated to conduct management activities and develop management recommendations to protect sensitive or threatened and endangered species (TES) and their habitat from invasive agents as a requirement of the Fort’s Programmatic Biological Opinion and Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan. Activities include invasive flora management and vegetation monitoring to assess and document the continued native grassland transition and guide management actions to manage against wildfire and conserve the biological diversity on Fort Huachuca.
