Description

The United States Department of Agriculture- Prescott National Forest Service (USDA-PNFS) intends to award a HUBZone sole source contract to Chiricahua Procurement, 32- Gold Avenue SW, Albuquerque, NM, 87111. This action is being conducted under the authority of FAR 19.1306 HUBZone sole-source awards. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310, with an applicable size standard of $34M. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice is due in writing with sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirements within five (5) business days of the date of this publication. Responses to this announcement may be submitted to veronica.beck@usda.gov.



A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. System Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all vendors doing business with the USDA-FS.



The Government does not anticipate that offers will be received from two or more HUBZone small business concerns. However, if interested parties prove capability to perform tasking per the attached Statement of Work and also holds an active HUBZone certification, those interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within five (5) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition amongst HUBZone Small Business Concerns would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.



Anticipated Period of Performance: 12 Months From Date of Award



All interested and/or responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for the purpose of determining whether or conduct a competitive procurement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement not later than 1:00 PM, August 16, 2023 (PST).
