The Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Phoenix, AZ, office has a requirement for electrician and line crew crane certification/recertification training services. The training process, which involves classroom and practical work, must adhere to the requirements set forth by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). Performance shall be held in greater Phoenix, AZ, and may be scheduled at the WAPA DSW facility, which has conference rooms and cranes on hand to facilitate both phases of training.

WAPA crew members require NCCCO certification on the following crane makes and models:

• Elliott Model 3095R Telescope Boom Crane with Pole Grabber (TLL – Telescopic Boom Cranes – Swing Cab)


• Altec AC18-70 Hydraulic Telescopic Crane (TSS – Telescopic Boom Cranes – Fixed Cab)

This is a 100% small business set-aside, Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 611699 (All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction) with a size standard of $10,000,000. This requirement is being solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13.
