Title of Event: Industry Day - AFSPECWAR Rescue Support



Audience: Members of the DoD and Industry Representatives



When: 1-3 April 2024, 0800-1600



Where: TBD - Please email POCs listed or Mr. Zachary Goit, zachary.goit@us.af.mil, for further details about the industry days.





The event will bring together a diverse range of professionals dedicated to advancing various aspects of parachute operations and related services. We specifically encourage the participation of:





  1. Instructors for Training Events and Parachute Riggers: Your mastery of rigging techniques and instructional prowess contribute significantly to the safety and success of parachute operations. Your insights are crucial to our collective efforts.




  2. Parachute Operations Specialists: Your experience and expertise in executing parachute operations in various environments are integral to our understanding and improvement of best practices.




  3. Rotary Wing Airlift Support Services Providers: Your proficiency in rotary-wing operations is vital for the success of parachute missions in diverse operational scenarios. Your input is highly valued.





During the Industry Day, participants will have the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, share best practices, explore emerging technologies, and forge valuable connections with fellow professionals.





Industry Day Goals:



• To ensure synergy between DoD and Industry representatives



• Incorporate Industry comments into the policy development process



• Embrace interoperability and open standards



• Communicate DoD requirements



• Gain a better understanding of recent Industry developments



• Provide updates to Industry on future DoD developments and acquisitions
