Description

In accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2 and AGAR 413.303, the United States Forest Service (USFS), Special Project Operations Center (SPOC) – Southwest intends to solicit and award a BPA Call Order to RELM Communications (dba BK Technologies) for the purchase of BKR 5000 radio accessories.



A justification and approval will be published after award in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.405-6(a)(2) after award. The use of the previously synopsized BPA is necessary to acquire radio accessories required to operate BKR 5000 radios that have already been purchased for the Coconino National Forest and to avoid additional acquisition costs, delay in delivery, and other mission impacts if the USFS were to award to a vendor other than the BPA awarded contractor.



This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal, nor an Invitation for Bid; the USFS does not intent to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information received. Any information submitted will be treated as informational only.
