The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Tsaile Health Center, Tsaile, AZ intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to DataRay Inc., for annual software maintenance services, for the D3-MMP, at the Tsaile Health Center.

The DataRay Inc. provides specialized software and expertise to rapidly integrate, install, manage & support automatic identification technologies. This Annual Support benefits all of the Tsaile Health Center clincial departments. This Printer Software Maintanenace service perforrms with data directly from RPMS is operational and functioning correctly which is used by outpatient departments. The DataRay software reduces the chances for error when identifying patients and for the correct labeling of their prescriptions, lab testing and radiology exams and all other clinical visits. DATARAY, INC already provides this support at Tsaile Health Center. This acquisition is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Annual Software Maintenance Services: Support by assisting with printer installation, setup and configuration of existing printers. The service will also provide troubleshooting assistance when printers are not working correctly.

The Proposed Contractor is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required services to ensure there is no interruption in services that will negatively affect direct patient care.

This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is October 7, 2023, 5:00PM MDST.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in Federal Business Opportunities in accordance with the FAR Part 13. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
