Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Aerial Targets Program Office (PMA-208) Patuxent River, MD intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order under the sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), contract number N00019-21-G-0002, with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), Chandler, AZ. The anticipated delivery order is for non-recurring engineering efforts required to replace the current Fin Actuator Control System (FACS) and Motor Control Valve Actuator (MCVA) due to manufacturing lead times to replace obsolescence in support of the GQM-163A Coyote Supersonic Sea-skimming Target (SSST). Contract award is anticipated for the first quarter of fiscal year 2024 and the anticipated delivery order will be for 36 months. The GQM-163A is a surface launched aerial target system that emulates the anti-ship cruise missile in support of weapon system test and evaluation.



This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the action described herein is 336414.



The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
