This notice is published IAW FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions.
The U.S Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs). This requirement is to procure ATVs for specialized units who patrol our Nation’s borders. The ATVs are being procured as Brand name (or equal) IAW the stated salient characteristics included in the Statement of Work (SOW). It is the intent of CBP to procure commercially available equipment.
The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 336999 - All Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 1,000 employees.
It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price, purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures.
It is anticipated that a Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued via the System for Award Management (SAM) as a total small business set-aside.
The solicitation documents will be issued on or about June 16, 2023
All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
In order to be considered for award, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible.
