The 355TH CES is requesting the renewal and update of a follow-on five year service contract for Crane and Hoist Inspection Services. The update to this contract will add repairs to the inspection schedule. This service will ensure that all crane and hoisting equipment on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base stays fully mission capable throughout the lifetime of the contract. The contractor will perform detailed operational and visual inspection services as well as repairs to ensure all manual and electrical hoisting equipment listed in Appendix A (List of Equipment) are not compromised and they perform to set standards.
These inspections and repairs are essential as they help prevent accidents and injuries by identifying and addressing potential hazards before they can result in equipment failure. Ensuring that the hoisting equipment operates in accordance with industry standards and regulations significantly increases safety for service members and civilians alike.
