THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE-SOURCE. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (a)(1) setforth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

The 338th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, 2021 West First Street, JBSA Randolph intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Airborne Systems North America of CA, Inc., 3100 W Segerstrom Ave Santa Ana, CA 92704-5812, United States on a sole source basis as the only responsbile source capable of providing the required "Raider Intruder RA-1" parachute system IAW USAF AUL for Special Forces Military Free-Fall Operations and ATP 3-18.11. This purchase will be made on behalf of the Air Force Recruiting Service.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
