The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS) anticipates awarding a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price modification to add Two (2) additional storage igloos to contract W15QKN-21-C-0002. This contract is for the material handling, maintenance, inspection, and transportation of 155mm artillery ammunition, to and from Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), located at Camp Navajo. Contract W15QKN-21-C-0002 is with the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (AZDEMA) Ordnance Operations Department (OOD), Camp Navajo (CN), 2 Hughes Avenue Bellemont, Arizona 86015. The proposed action is required in order to support increased storage requirements in FY23-25.
This effort is for the secure storage, material handling, maintenance, and inspections of 155mm artillery ammunition, and transport to and from YPG, in support of PM CAS Modular Artillery Charge System (MACS) as well as future Extended Range Cannon Artillery (ERCA) requirements. This modification will be issued in accordance with Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5, for the purposes of procuring the storage, material handling, maintenance, and inspections of 155mm artillery ammunition to and from YPG on a sole source basis.
