Presolicitation Notice to award under Solicitation: W81K0223Q0081



Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Medical Readiness Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Branch, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price BPA Call under solicitation W81K0223Q0081 to Science Care Inc, in the amount of $25,667.00 for Human Tissue, Human Medical Cadavers in support of the Andersen Simulation Center at Madigan Army Medical Center Tacoma WA in part of a Capstone Surgical Skills Assessment Course. This provides a 2-Day surgical skills training and assessment course to surgical residents in preparation of graduation & certification in performing various War scenario procedures. These courses are instructed by Board Certified Surgeons in skills of advanced Combat Casualty care techniques in surgical procedures such as; Laparotomy, Thoracotomy, Fasciotomy, Canthotomy, vascular access, amputation , REBOA, and vascular exposures of the neck and groin.



This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, email; walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil . No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
