North Clarifier Rehabilitation Project

The City of Safford (City) hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from Contractors with an Arizona General Class A License for the Rehabilitation of the North Clarifier located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant at 1395 W. Reclamation Way, Safford, AZ 85546. The rehabilitation is expected to take 120 calendar days and includes the removal and installation of a new center column and scum trough, refurbishing the upper and lower rakes, removal of present gear drive, replacement and installation of a new gear drive, cleaning the tank surface and weir, and coating existing metal. The above location is also where the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 1:00 PM local time, Tuesday, December 12th, 2023.

Bidders shall seal and deliver their Bids by 2:00 PM local time, Tuesday, January 23 ^rd , 2024 to the City Clerk’s office at 717 W. Main St., Safford, AZ 85546, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All Bids must include a bid bond for 10% of the Bid amount, and all Bids must be plainly marked on the outermost packaging with “Attention: Sealed Bid – #67763,” and shall indicate the company name and address of the Bidder and Bid closing date and time. Any Bids received after 2:00 PM on the above stated date will be returned unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to withhold the award for any reason the City determines. The City also reserves its right to hold any or all Bids for sixty (60) days after the Bid opening date and will not allow withdrawal of Bids during those sixty (60) days.
