The City of Show Low is extending an invitation for proposals for the remodeling of three Public Restrooms at Show Low City Parks, City of Show Low Project FM-1922B.

The restrooms are located at the “Senior” ballfield at Show Low City Park, the “Ponderosa” ball field at Show Low City Park and in the City Gym, 760 E McNeil. Each restroom has separate men’s and women’s facilities. The improvements include new stainless-steel plumbing fixtures, partitions, wall board, paint, re-finishing concrete floors, lighting, doors, windows, paper and soap product dispensers, and other necessary appurtenances. The scope will include necessary demolition and disposal of generated waste materials. The contractor’s scope also includes the connections to existing power, water and sewer services. In-slab plumbing will need to be reconfigured in some areas. Schematic plans are provided in the bid packet for each facility. These plans were prepared for the purpose of illustrating general layout, materials, and dimensions and they are available with the Bid Documents on the City website showlowaz.gov. The successful bidder will be responsible to prepare permittable plans for the construction. This project is funded in part with a Community Development Block Grant, Department of Housing Section 3 Regulations will be required. Detailed information is included in the Bid Documents.

The proposals will be evaluated based on cost, value, and adherence to the preliminary drawings. A schedule of values for each of the three restrooms will also be required as a part of the contractor’s proposal. The contactor shall complete usable and operable facilities in accordance with all pertinent codes and regulations as necessary to complete the job in a workmanlike manner.

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Engineering Department, City of Show Low, 180 N. 9 ^th Street, Show Low, AZ 85901 until Thursday, March 2nd, at 4:00 PM local time, The City of Show Low reserves the right to select the proposal that best suits the City’s needs and may modify the Scope of Work. The City of Show Low also reserves the right to reject any and all proposals not deemed in the best interest of the City. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, February 9 at 2:00 pm, at City Hall, 180 N. 9 ^th Street, Show Low, AZ.
