The City of Show Low is extending an invitation for bids for the 12-Inch PE100 Pipe Slipline Installation City of Show Low Project No. FM-6824 Project in the City of Show Low. The work includes, but not necessarily limited to, installing approximately 4,100 linear feet of heat fused SDR11 PE100 pipe in an existing 30-inch concrete pipe. The existing 30-inch carrier pipe alignment has a single deflection angle point of approximately 28 degrees located approximately 2,470 lf from the lake intake. The carrier pipe runs from the intake pump facility at Show Low Lake and extends to the outfall at an existing irrigation canal. Upon award of contract, the bidder is required to provide a work plan that details the location of receiving pits and engineering / manufacturers calculations showing the pull lengths. The selected contractor shall also provide the terminations of the pipe at the intake and outfall per the project specifications. All work will be performed within the existing easements.

Sealed Bids will be received by the Engineering Project Manager, City of Show Low, 180 N. 9th Street, Show Low, AZ 85901 until Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 3:00 P.M., with a Public Bid Opening immediately following. The City of Show Low reserves the right to modify the Scope of Work and to reject any and all bids not deemed in the best interest of the City. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the City Hall, 180 N. 9th Street.
